An executive by day and a serious home cook by night (and on weekends), cooking and enjoying food is one of my passions. My philosophy of cooking is to create delicious and satisfying meals that are healthful and made with fresh, seasonal ingredients from the most local source possible. Meat falls by the wayside in favor of fresh vegetables, fish and shellfish. Dairy, eggs and white grains are minimized. Because I live in Seattle, I am lucky to have access to a cornucopia of wonderful vegetables (many from my own back yard) as well as fresh and delicious seafood.
